The True Value of Motherhood

I am the mother of a daughter

I am the mother of a son and

I am the proud mother of the little girl who lives inside of me

The little girl who carries the pain and suffering from my Ancestral lineage,

the generations before me

The learned patterns of behavior that no longer serve me

She has been my most difficult child

She has tested my limits beyond my comfort zone

She has also become my North Star

She is the challenge that turned

into a blessing and allowed me

to manifest miracles

I sourced ways to nurture and embrace her fears

I released the extra baggage

that was weighing me down

I hired mentors, coaches and masterful gurus from around the globe

I made a choice to invest in me

No one was going to save me but me

No matter how high the waves

I needed to learn to navigate the waters

so I could flow with ease and grace

I was ready to live my life

ON PURPOSE

If I wanted to be appreciated and valued

I had to appreciate and value me

So I did

and that dull piercing heaviness disappeared

Being a mother is a brave and beautiful blessing

so honor YOU

honor that blessing with the deepest

of gratitude and appreciation

even when the challenges of motherhood arise

Being a mother has taught me to

breath deeper into my purpose

To take accountability for my life,

go within, and work through

my own stuff
