Mother, You Matter

What she wants matters

What she needs matters️

What she says matters

And here’s why

She lives inside of you…

She is the little girl whose light might have been dimmed,

by another’s lack of awareness or cruelty

Today, she is

that toddler/ child/ teenager

who might have felt

embarrassed

by what her teacher said

to her at school

in front of her classmates

Or perhaps she felt she wasn’t important

because mama seemed to be too busy

when she was trying to tell her something important

Today let’s honor the little girl inside you,

By speaking your truth!

Knowing that you matter!

Listening to your inner voice!

And showing up as your authentic self!

It is vital to create a safe space

for others to be self expressed!

Especially for our children,

So they can be;

Seen, heard, loved and accepted!

So developing a positive sense of self

and advocating for themselves is their automatic way of being.

So they know they are so valuable,

Knowing...

that they matter!

Knowing…

that they are here to shine.

We need our children

to know this NOW.

THEY ARE YOU

YOU ARE THEM

WE ARE ONE

This safe space of full self expression,

is intentional.

It is where we process our feelings

without judgment,

of ourselves or others,

to shine like the stars that we are.

It is where we release

what no longer serves us.

It is where we empower

one another to show up

as the highest version of ourselves.

Teaching our children that

Being true to themselves,

releasing blame,

having compassion

and forgiveness;

for ourselves and others

are the most

vital things in order for them

to persevere

through challenging times.

Most people are so desperate to belong that they do not speak their truth.

Let’s give our children a better world by breaking this way of being!

Let’s show our children how to speak their truth,

Let’s show our children how to honor who they are.

It ALL starts with us!
